^^^yeah...wow! where do I begin?
I was running a little late so I missed Miss TNA (Sorry Tina), but I heard she did very well.
When I arrived Maximum moves was already doing their thing. I was very entertained with their show. It was nice to see something different and outside the box. You never really see too many DJ's spinning with a mic in their hand, singing and rhyming in unison with their MC. Diggin their CD as well. Good job you guys.
I fully enjoyed the way Whizard programed his set. After Max Moves banged it out he brought it down a notch and slowly brought it back up. By the end of his set the place was packed and the crowd was freakin out. Perfect lead in to J. Majik.
Then J. Majik just absolutely destroyed the place. He was KILLING IT one tune after the next. One of the few Dj's left that still burns actual vinyl dubplates and dosen't use CD's. He brought a trunk load of em too. I loved when MCMC called all the homies rockin grape shirts on stage, that was a lot of fun.
The sound was insane, the lights and lasers were awesome, the venue was sick, and the crowd was vibin like crazy.
Big ups to all the Grapevinez soldiers that worked their ass off to make this happen.

I actually got there a little late, Due to some poor planning by some friends of mine, which sucked but got there in time for wizard and j majik. When all the grapvinez heads went on stage that shit was fun as hell. I think i got a little crazy but wait a min i always do! LOL Shit was mad fun i really cant wait for the next GRAPVINEZ EVENT! When I walked into this jam; I see five lasers and 30 people brockin' on stage. J Majik is just droppin banger after banger non-stop. I felt like it was 1995 again. Leave to MCMC and the incredibly HARD-WORKING Grapevinez crew to pop off an energetic party vibe like this each and every event. I think Legendz pretty much rinsed everyone out for the whole weekend. |

This nite was bad ass!
Honestly I had more fun at this than in a long time.
The vibe was tight, the sound was really really good. Everyone was super friendly.
I really liked seeing Maximum Moves step outside the box and come with something different from the norm, and J Majik had the tunes, he killed it with his selection and mixing!
Nuff respect to all the bypass, jtec, mcmc and all the dancers for holding it down, they helped keep the vibe super tight...
i had a big smile on my face all nite long...

Its great to see cats appreciating the dancing in the Drum and Bass scene, it is really the PEANUT BUTTER TO THE JELLY of the music, I have been putting it down in jungle circles in this scene since the early 90's here in LA, when no one knew what the fuck jungle was as the heavy drum and bass sound started splitting from its acid house to breakbeat hardcore roots, they thought I was talking about a song from the Time, hehe. Mark Brown knows, he was there, when we got blessed with mad snare rolls and heavy bass lines, fused with 808's, 909's, 101's, and even 303's kicks, and crazy modulated synths, all thanks to homies like LTJ Bukem, Rebel MC, 4hero, Remarc, Danny Breaks, Goldie, Doc Scott, Top Buzz, DJ Hype, Aphrodite, Andy C, Roni Size, Kenny Ken, L Double, etc, UK cats that will still get down to this day, you know!! Thats the shit that made you DANCE!!!!!!!!
