Insomniac is excited to announce the creation of an enchanted new event: Beyond Wonderland!
It's been years since Nocturnal Wonderland morphed naturally into Nocturnal Festival and as the Nocturnal experience has traveled deeper into the night and explored the depths of it’s forested terrain, we feel it’s time to rediscover some of the color and warmth of the original Wonderland event and reshape it into a fresh and novel form, building on and moving further than both of its predecessors and evolving the concept in rich new directions.
Insomniac had been producing Nocturnal since 1993. We’ve thrown Nocturnal Festival for years, and prior to that Insomniac invested close to a decade of love into Nocturnal Wonderland. We now feel that it’s time to push forward, journeying past the boundaries, and see what lies on the other side of Nocturnal Festival’s darkness. We will embark on an adventure to the far side of the forest, exploring what exists beyond.
Nocturnal Festival and Beyond Wonderland have been conceived as sister festivals, nights that share a special lineage and common ancestry, and contain many of the same truths in their design. Beyond Wonderland will evolve along fresh paths, incorporating novel motifs and growing an exciting new environment that is sure to enliven, stimulate the senses and delight all of those who have been seeking a return to the amazing hues and vibrance of our original Wonderland event.
Over the years many of us have missed the wondrous aspect that the original Nocturnal captured so well and Insomniac has received a number of requests to “bring back” the old Wonderland event. Rather than resurrect the past, Insomniac will push into the future, innovating and creating a completely new concept that will indeed transport us to wonderland and far beyond.

Don't want to sound like a jerk, but did you read it man?

reading this thread makes me want to stab myself in the eye
needs moar current value
why isn't tactile playing
omg you spelled noisia wrong now you fucked it up they aren't gonna play
why is pendulum higher on the lineup than goldie
Yup, im guessing its like at the fair how you would load up your card..
But I understand the reasoning behind it, missing money and knowing that thousands of drugged up kids are not going to want to stand in line for a 3-4 dollar refund after the event.(if that's how they decide to do it)
oh word i read some email i got an it said 8-2 weird well then if it goes tell 4 i have to make this shit MADDDDD TALENT all types of crazy styles will be thrown down hellz gyeah

haha check out the dude in the red shirt, he's like wtf is this bullshit about
to the dude in red shirt comment EXACTLY! lol I predict an epic fail. As for me, I'm a dumbass who bought VIP so I get 2 stand in line with the other 2,000 people who have VIP for drinks, sweet. boi im a sucker sometimes...
british airways were too busy eating bangers & mash. they shoulda bumped someone for friction imho. they obviously don't know that here a rave feels the unnecessary loss !!!!
subfocus + brand new tracks = heaven on earth. i might spontaneously combust or implode from pure delight?
haha. something in this thread makes me feel like im about to read a post by deathbrigade....

Hahaha, sorry I'm 2 months late, Rob, I only really check out the site once every 3 or 4 months now just to make sure I'm not missing out on any headliners from across the pond that spin the heavy stuff...but considering both of us are pretty much done with promoting, that's never an issue, they never get booked anymore. I think between you, me and Pat, that's like 50% of the promoters in SoCal that booked hard talent besides Dylan and Tech Itch. Other than Darkmatter and Audio Asylum, can't really think of anyone that actually flies out talent that caters to the dark crowd anymore. No disrespect to the other crews that still throw down some parties for the hardheads, but seeing local DJs spin just isn't the same.
As for Apokc, trust me, as the guy who put out Zardonic's first vinyl, I totally feel you, man, but this isn't the thread to make a case for bringing out more hard shit...hell, this isn't even the wesbite to do it, everything you say will just fall on deaf ears...besides, based on the clubs & parties section, this is a dubstep site now, dnb is off-topic.

wow, what a night. Thanks for a great time. I have to say that 12th planet was the best set of the night imo. It's been a few years since my last orange show massive and oddly the only thing that has changed is the outfits...it felt like a time capsule with more underwear. ALSO, it was early, but Bailey was great as always.
subfocus - hello! black hair, pink dress (regrettably close to "tits") wouldn't stop jumping up and down & screaming! too sick! london massive - representing!
ss - uh, ya ... slapping 'em down!
bailey - great set & chat. ryoko had a good if not exhausting salsa class.
noisia & goldie - my regards. couldn't stay. had to catch a ride with my pal which left just after 1?! i played a eulogy when i got home
all in all, worth the price of the flight for this Canado!
Now, hasta la vista baby!

Loved every minute of it. VIP was totally worth it (for once). Great production, always love that venue, only complaint is either the dome or speedway coulda been open. It was probably b/c this party is new and doesn't have a reputation yet. Keep it up insomniac, from the DJs to the production to the fireworks, classic!
This party was way proper. The layout to this party was perfect for me. Dubstep room was next to DnB, portapotties and beers were in between both rooms. The only thing that I must complain about is that I missed Crissy Criss because they weren't letting in D-SLRs. So I had to walk all the way back to the ride, drop it off, get back in line and wait some more to catch the last 15 minutes of his set. The website said that still cameras would be ok. Insomniac needs to be more specific or let security know whats up. Anyways, I hadn't seen 12th Planet in a while and he certainly didn't disappoint and Caspa...c'mon they call him the dopest ghost in town for a reason. That dude brought the heat. The sounds coming out of that system were just broiling. IMO SubFocus had the set of the night. That TimeWarp remix was crazy. Next was Pendulum and it was the best set that I've heard from those guys. Noisia of course ripped it. And to shut the party down was the legend himself, Goldie. This dude surprises me everytime I see him. The place errupted when he dropped Nirvana's 'smells like teen spirt.' Check out my videos
Have to admit, at the end when Goldie was playing he was flawless. Then at the end of his set when he dropped Timeless and Inner City Life and went into the crowd giving everyone hugs and just chilling with them. He was just standing on top of the barrier just hanging out with all the kids, giving them big hugs. Made me feel really good to see something like that. There was a bunch of other really good moments, but thats the one that stands out in my mind the most.
WOW, what a night!!! everyone rinsed it, WODNB was not holding back on this one...big ups Insomniac, Bassrush, SS and every dj.... i had a blast!
been to like 20+ massive's and this was the first time going vip, worth every penny!!!! drinks all night, food and a few party favors and it was a night ill never forget...and no bs lines!!
