This place is dead
This place is dead, these stomping grounds
ain't been stomped on for too long by the old poets,
and no one even knows it.
I remember the attraction like a magnet,
drew my focus in and whet my appetite to be the Magus
of the forum. I spat some junior s**t
and overused some words,
sharpened up my talent as I sparred with nouns and verbs,
harping on scenarios so toy they were hilarious
and dared to air my cynicism in my youthful arrogance.
I'll be 30 this year. I've frequented since 2002;
somebody tell me what the f**k I'm still doing here?
The thrill is gone, but habit stays:
I'll beat this dead horse till it reanimates and kicks me in the face.
And to the punk-ass bitches that litter this hallowed ground with ads,
You're abortions that should have happened out the ASS!
