Holy iPhone!!!
I'm about as far from an Apple fanboy as you can get, but woah, they just changed up the whole mobile game. Is the Sidekick about to get dethroned as the official D&B communication device?

Yes i was just about to post this!!! i mos def am getting one (Sidekicks are too "toy-ey" to me and Blackberry's are too cumbersome imo) and apparently they are coming with a widescreen iPod (i hope they come with better movies though). i will be snatching one of those also

holy s**t that phone is pretty dope, but man f**k the initial prototype of a phone. they ALWAYS have problems. i'll wait for the second edition to come out next year.

^^ohh Kori u and ur market watches, hahaha. it is not a matter of who wants to watch it off of a 2" screen, because many people like myself watch TV shows and movies off of our iPods right now. also Apple has almost a corner on the "coolness" market (i forgot the technically word for it). When this comes out it will be a monster and u figure Apple will only get better/sleeker/more efficient with it. i mean a Pinto will get u from point A to B just like a Ferrari so why do people buy Ferrari's instead? Because they can and it is "cool". Same thing with Apple imo. I ain't trading stock on Apple so that ain't my concern, i just want one so that is enough for me...
*on a side note the best gadgets of stupid s**t i would never need but kind of want are all in SKY MALL on planes, hahahaha.

yeah this thing is absolutely ridiculous! All of us nerds @ work were watching this as this was being released this morning. It runs on OSX, sick apple is on top of their game man. However I agree with "josephv" and am gona wait tell V.2 comes out. Either way I can't wait to get it. |

Why is cingular such a downer? Ive had nothing but great service and I usually have signal when everyone else doesnt... And Ive never had a dropped call. Ever.
Besides, Its friggin OSX in your pocket - Id get it if it was pay as you go on 'generic celluar'.
OSX should theoreticaly mean anything you have on your Mac at home will run on this! Making beats on the bus with Ableton Live on your phone? Sign me up! |

look at world com it bombed a couple of years ago and no one thought it would ever belly up.. but that is also due to insider trading and yeah it was down 7 points then when they announced on the news it went up .. 23,000,000 apple trading today and it's only 2 points up... yo green what chart you lookin at? Its been 85 for two weeks while the bigs load up on it...gapped up two points on the morning news, went back down to fill the gap then up 10 by today. Also if ya read the fine print there is extra cost for services on this phone.....as soon as it is overbought (100$) they will release news "of manufacturing delays" and slug the stock...rinse wash repeat.... |

Like Steve Jobs said.. this phone is 5 years ahead of any other cell phone out there.. but I think I'll wait till the second generation comes out.. I'm sure by then it'll have a built in camara. Can you say handheld video ichat? That's the lick right there.. |

It has a camera, just not sure if it does video. its 2megapixel though and running osx so id be suprised if it doesnt... |
