yea, subphonix is on the first friday of the month. it has a great vibe and the hawaii crew is really chill. they are trying to set up another night or two for the near future.

no there not. i lived in haleiwa north shore oahu for about a year between waikiki and sunset, and i can tell you the only hot chicks are the tourists.
people who live in hawaii are a mix race of samoan and japanese. yes there are exceptions but for the most part the people there are big bad samo jap.
and hawaiian tropics girls dont count.

Wow...weird to not pay attention and then read a whole thread about me/us/Hawaii...hehe. Ed Rush and Optical hasn't happened yet...it is on the 20th. Subphonix is still the 1st Friday of the month. Just had Grym out from Onset Seattle. We just started with a new venue for this Ed Rush and Optical show, so that should be good. Subphonix will continue on same time, same place, and we hope to be able to accommodate more LA folks with that. If headed out this way, feel free to hit me up anytime on the Pacific Jungle Myspace Page (www.myspace.com/pacificjungle) and I'll always fill you in on what we're up to. 2007's gonna be a great year for DnB in Hawaii!!!

Another promoter to look out for is www.double-o-spot.com. G-Spot caters to all electronic crowds. He is bringing down Dj Rap this weekend, but it will be a house set I believe. G hooks it up with Total Science, Storm, Craze, Goldie, throughout the year. I miss the old rewind/audiolab crew, they threw a nice weekly/bi-weekly. I was never around for the pacific jungle crew, but they seem to bring down some good talent. Ed rush & Optical? Cannot complain with that... |

Wow. Good to hear the old and the new are working together. Does Mindgame or Kause play out for Pacific Jungle? Mindgame got me started on the whole dnb tip. I'm curious to check out one of your events if/when I visit back home. Although G is not strictly a dnb promoter, anyone who consistently brings down the planet of the drums tour is ok in my books. |
