Besk One & Hidden Sound on The Beatdown 8/17, KUCI 88.9FM
This week I'm very happy to have Besk One into the studios for an atmospheric / techmospheric set. He'll be bringin some of the latest tunes from Covert Ops, Method One, and his own productions.

"Brian Hendricks, better known by his DJ pseudonym Besk one is a Los Angeles native who has been pushing the deeper side of Drum and Bass music for the last 8 years. Early on the influences of Atmospheric DnB pioneers like LTJ Bukem and Blame played a key part in the development of his sound, and although it is a relatively small sub-section of Drum and Bass music as a whole the last 2 years have shown an explosive groth of artists and labels catering to the sound, make this an outstanding time to be playing this progressive and futuristic music.
In addition to his DJ duties Besk one is also the man behind the development of the Covert Operations webstore as well as one of the founding members of DeeperSounds.com, a website dedicated to fans of futuristic Drum and Bass that offeres unique and unprecidented access to all things Deep.
In the past Besk one was instumental in bringing this style of Drum and Bass to the local clubs of Los Angeles, by running and promoting club nights at local venues like 217 Lounge, Broadway Bar and Grill, The Good Hurt and more. Flying in acts from all over the country and oll over the globe, these parties were widely respected for bringing in acts often ignored by the more mainstream Drum and Bass community in Los Angeles. Most notiibly flying in one of Drum and Bass’s biggest stars, 720 degrees lable head DJ Blame for an amazing set at the Good Hurt."
