Has anyone ever threw a dnb party at......
The echoplex?
After going to the dub club i was stunned at the amount of room and the soundsystem they had there.
Would def be wicked to see a crew get down there monthly.
Just a thought. |

the Echo, is the same place. I think since the open'd downstairs there calling it the "Echoplex" (upstairs & downstairs) it's on sunset close to echo park in echo park (if that makes sense)
the spot is ill, we've been looking into it, my boys run the soundboard there, it would be nice to use both rooms. I would love to see/hear some of those dub club mc's bust over jungle. |

heh, ya I saw Bukem there - was hillarious, as there were still people eating when the show started - these poor families looking all confused at why it suddenly got super crowded, loud and with people dancing in the aisles while they were finishing their food!
an aside, that was the 1st DnB show i took my lady too - was a good time |

Is the smog show in the echoplex???
Cause i know theres an upstairs and a downstairs.
Upstairs being the echo and down being the echoplex.
Either way that smog show is gonna be bangin!!!

echoplex is technically the downstairs larger room, the echo is the upstairs smaller room (where LTJ played and rob g hosted a few engage parties at w/ friction , concord dawn, etc). the echoplex used to mainly be a big banquet room for quincenieras, weddings & stuff like that but spaceland peeps redid it all and it's a pretty cool vibe.
i've seen the aggrolites, diplo & MIA there...gets hot but it's a fun room. it's got a seperate entrance thru the back alley, nice outdoor patio, bathrooms are clean, back bar is easy to get in & out of. can't say the same for the bar on the side, next to the soundboard, that pretty much turns into a cluster f*ck when it gets crowded near the stage.
