Divine Elements Studio Got Robbed | HELP!
Yes the worst thing that could happen... did happen... on Wednesday 8/16 between 9-7pm our Studio was robbed.
If you hear of anyone selling these iteams:
Logic 7 Pro (with out dongle)
12" Mac Laptop Power Book
MC 303
wii (with out power cable)

Been looking on Craigslist now for a few, with no luck....
do you still have something with the serial number of the Mac? Like the manual or box something? I think there is a way for apple to track it it they go online with it... not 100% about that, but worth lookin into...

damn, i fee your pain - a few years ago my pad got jacked - over 10k worth of audio and computer equipment were stolen.
sorry to say though, the police will be next to no help, and even though i had meticulous records of all the serial numbers of all my equipment, none of it was ever recovered, and i think i was probably lucky to have gotten even as much as a phone call from the cops
so my advice is to not dwell on it, and as much as it sucks, just start rebuilding - took me about a year to replace everything that was taken. |

thanks so much guys! and thanks Alx for lettin me use that if needed... I still have it installed, and thank god i have the dongle... but yes might need it for the new laptop we're gettin...
We just got an ADT system installed, and about to get 2 cameras in the house that we can watch for any computer at any time! cant wait for that. thanks for every who has checked the net for us... we now feel like they were tweakers and i dont think they will sell anything online, but always worth the check! again thanks for the support, and the live shows are ALL canceled till we get back up and running!
Have a great weekend everyone, time to try and forget about all the stuff that is missing!

Yes renters insurance is on its way!!
Everyone was saying it was an inside job, but we have been very very good about bringing heads into the house, plus if they had been there before and seen all the vinyl and equipment we had, it would have all been gone, not little things that could fit into a backpack. plus they took fireworks, rings, change, and stupid s**t like that... and throwing my ninja stars into the wall... childish if you ask me to take time to that....

but I've seen some people get their s**t back by rss feeding craigslist
just search for those items, then when the list of your results come up, grab that rss feed (I use firefox), then you'll see everytime an item (of that type) comes up for sale on CL

dam dude, that must suck, it's totally f**ked up & unfair. it seems like the suspects would be someone who were not only in your studio before but knew the studio would be empty for a specific duration of hours that day also. having my own home studio robbed is among my worst nightmares.
