Re: Recording-esque Question?
hold a mic to the speaker of the phone.....
thats how i recorded a few drunk girl calls to put them over house tunes.. came out good..
you can mess with the quality at the end.

Re: Recording-esque Question?
if it allows you to store the voice mail on your actual phone and not the voice mail server, you may be able to go in via bluetooth and pull it off.
what phone you have? |

Re: Recording-esque Question?
my phone has a voice recorder mode. you can then download the file over USB or email it.
your provider may also do online voice mail and you could grab it like that.
and finally you can get one of those phone recording cords, listen to your voicemail from a landline and record it like that. |

Re: Recording-esque Question?
i've heard of folks doing voiceovers for promos/commercials from their home on a phone. Perhaps they are on an analog landline and on the other end there is some sort of class A pre-amp, feeding into protools. try it! unless u want that gritty lo-fi vibe... |

take your phone with the messages on it and put it in the cd tray of your PC then hit the record button on your keyboard. presto! |

Re: Recording-esque Question?
Use a VoIP app to dial into your voicemail and record the audio using a sound editor on your computer...or find a friend that works at a radio station, any broadcast studio worth its salt will have a way to record directly from a phone line. |
