The Lakers ("Slam")
anyone else hearing Pendulum's "SLAM" intro at Lakers warmups and/or Lakers radio pre-game?

anyways...dare I say it...THE LAKERS ARE GOOD!!!
I love Kobe, but thank goodness The Lakers didn't give into his 'trade' demands like they did Shaq. Bynum is a STUD (dunking on everyone), Farmar is running it, Fisher is a G, Luke Walton is versitile and even Sasha aka Dracula Look-Alike is hitting shots. Just need Kwame back and Mihm to contribute something...ohhh and i still say trade Llmar. Got to get out of that 7 and 8 spot though for the playoffs, woooot! |

no i aint heard that and i been to a few games this year already and seen the rest .. they look good first time they have looked like a team in years ... look for the in the 4 or 5 spot come playoff time ... geah |

i will be listenin' for that pendulum tune now during warmups...
they used to play the vinyl syndicate rmx of the Superman Theme (classic jump up tune, you know the one) at the staples center for Shaq --- when he was on the team.
jason kidd for farmar would be a terrible idea. i think by the end of the season - farmar is going to be better than kidd. he has been ridiculous this year. his stock is going up, fast, and j. kidds is only slowly going down.
PS - Chris, you forget to mention Roni! Great effort and production from my man Turiaf!

Roni is pure comedy. He is like hilarious on the bench with his antics.
yeah i say don't trade Kidd for Farmer. To me Farmer and D. Fisher = Kidd's totals. Plus they shoot better then him, average about the same amount of assists, collectively average the same amount of points, defensively are better then him and plus are not as old. Kidd is going on like 36.
I want to see Kwame come back and roll to the 4 and i swear we could collectively have the best defense on the blocks in the league. I still say trade Llmar, he will never get over that hump imo and has been the same player with the same skills since high school (i mean seriously he can't go right). Cool ass guy, but u need to trade him while the perception is that he is still good. |

I say bring back Worthy and his baseline cuff dunk, Kareem with the skyhook, Magic with the lookaway behind the back assists, Cooper on D, Jamaal Wilkes with the crazy outside shot stylee, Rambis to pick up the garbage, Byron Scott to hit the smooth J, AC Green to work the boards (and praise the Lord), Mychael Thompson to drop the crack pipe and get some serious air, and Riley back as coach...then I'd be excited about watching the Lakers. Props to Pendulum though...BOOM! |

570AM is the Laker's station and they do cut in pieces for the pre-game and it is (i just heard it again for an ad spot for the pre-game show) "Slam" by Pendulum. I emailed them to get a tracklist. |
