I just bought the server yesterday, here are the specs:

that's a great idea. the 9 year anniversary is coming up next month on 4/20.
The only problem is that I'm extremely busy and throwing a party is no easy task.

yeah, the only problem is that parties cost money up front, which I don't currently have to invest, and also as it turns out parties don't usually make much money... so um yeah.

thanks, yeah it should be pretty awesome. once i wrap a couple of the projects i'm working on (literally any day now) i'll be spending time every day on tagsion (that's what my new software will be called, it will run all my sites) |

i actually did do nametags once... that was funny... at a databass about 5 years ago.
and it's actually only 500GB, it's RAID 1 (2 x 500GB drives mirrored).
right now the server i'm using have 250gb and it's almost full.

Good thinking Kelly.
We've decided to do a charity raffle at Abyss giving away donations from local outlets already including the Junglist Platoon, Nemesis Recordings, the I Love LA Day Party + several others TBA. Anyone interested in donating please either contact myself or Seebass.
Raffle tickets will be $2 each and all money raised will be given to Eecue to help pay for the server.
I know I was saying if I had a credit card I'd donate but all I had was cash. Well this is the chance for all you cash people like myself to not only donate but maybe win a cool prize.
