Junglescene Fundraiser for New Server April 19th at ABYSS
We at ABYSS have decided to do a charity raffle giving away donations from local outlets (already including the Junglist Platoon, Nemesis Recordings, the I Love LA Day Party + several others TBA/). Anyone interested in donating prizes please either contact myself or Seebass.
Raffle tickets will be $2 each and all money raised will be given to Eecue to help pay for the new web server.
I was telling myself if I had a credit card I'd donate but all I had was cash. Well this is the chance for all you cash people like myself to not only donate but maybe win a cool prize.

I would like to donate web hosting.
3 prizes of 1 year of hosting, which includes email / ftp / http / mysql. Normally I charge $200 a year for that.
I'd say that's a pretty good deal!

Hevy Metal Entertainment Group as a thank you to Dave & the rest of the LA community for all the love over the last year, is willing to donate is 4 hours of engineering time.
This basically equates to a half day recording session's worth of engineering.
$300 value ($75/hr) to the winner.
Our team has recorded & mixed for major label artists/producers like Dr. Dre, Mike Elizando, Professor X from XClan, Marley Marl, Nelly Furtado, Meredith Brooks, Esthero, Kimora Lee Simmons, MOP, Guru, Just Blaze, Legz Diamond, Mariah Carey and literally 100's of indy's.
We also work with broadcasters like CBS, Comedy Central, American Latino TV, LatinNation & corporate clients like Wireless Generation & Sprint MobiTV.
The winner will need to provide details for the project as well as provide studio space if desiring to record.
All mixing would be done in our studios, we would just need your files in ProTools compatible format. If not sure what to provide, we will work with winner to get the correct data for mixing.
AGAIN PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT STUDIO TIME...It's 4 hours of ENGINEERING time...winner will have to provide studio if wanting us to man the boards for recording sessions.
Past experience shows that 4 hours usually equates to 1-3 songs recorded if you have everything down pat and ready to go OR 1-2 songs mixed (again, this depends on how much work needs to get done to clean everything up and get ready for final mixdown).
So the prize is...
4 hours of studio engineering time provided by Hevy Metal Entertainment Group. Value= $300
