North SD county weeklies
Hey everyone,
Are there any good north SD county weeklies going on? I'm not seeing much on JScene or SDJunglist, but I know I've heard murmurs of a few here and there -- somethin' about an open decks night wednesday nights somewhere in oceanside.
My car's crap and I can't afford to drive to SD/LA to attend shows, as much as I want to. What's a junglist stuck in SD suburbia to do?

(edit) try adrenaline though mos definetly a good f**kin time! EVERY TUESDAY in OC!!! not long from N. SD!

I just did some research and organized noise SD has Konneckt... but I'm not sure whether that's still runnin or not. South OC works -- capistrano, dana point, clemente -- but pendleton's a bitch. I hate gas prices...
What we need is some north county carpool action goin' on... |

I feel ya man... North County could use somethign like this. I played the first installment of Konnekt, but I'm not sure if they're still doing it. I remember hearing about some D&B shows some crew was doing in Escondido... not sure if that's still going either..

Konneckt is currently between venues but will be back up and runnin very soon. If anybody is gonna start somethin up around here, hit us at Organized Noize. We'd love to lend a hand locally. |

plus upgrade is one block off the 405, so not only is it fast, it should be easy to find.

I know periodically Dub Chamber Records are up to some thing, more on a monthly tip, also Bulletproof Sessions will be re-introducing THE PAYBACK on a monthly basis for North County, but thats in the works.
Freebass Audio also have alot of shows, from reggae to breaks to DnB.
UPGRADE is always good times, great location and wicked hosts. I know its a 45 minute drive, but always as I said good vibes.
I'm not sure what happened to the Esco crew, but it looked like they were off to a great start?
Am I missing anyone?
PS Where would North County heads like their fix of DnB....Esco, san Marcos, Oceanside, Vista eyc etc....whats a good neutral spot for everyone? |

I think San Marcos or Vista is best, its pretty much right smack in the middle of north county.
