ahh yea... circa 98 I beleive.. nothing like a seeing cops out in riot gear to kick off the new year... my homie Sonik took a bean bag shot in the neck... thank god for the 40 oz. beer or he would have been really hurt'n..

Dave- I saw that whole s**t go down! I was just looking up at this bus being ravaged. Thats about five minutes before I got shot with a rubber bullet in my ASS. That was a really frantic, scarey night actually. I saw motorcycle cops going up and down the sidewalk literally running over little raver girls. And it was a really windy night so there was branches and debris flying everywhere, and people thrwoing bottles from the parking lot tiers. My boy got his ass completely beat by LAPD.

They held some Right to Dance protest at the Federal Building and I signed some class action law suit but never heard anything back. Typical.

I just wanted to see the Beasties and drink more of that pass out punch in the test tubes!

That was a trip with all those people getting poisoned from those little vials of some ecstasy drink.

I remember seeing the helmets walking outside the fence and than the acid kicked in.

i hope piston sees this one, hes got a great recolection of the night. The liquid ecstacy was some sort of new X energy drink that was being given out for free and had a bunch of kids flyin high. its funny that in spite of the different stories people have from the night, they always remember the X drink...

Yea "Circa 97 in 7th Heaven" was quite a night. I remember I was one of the few first people in that rave and this guy comes up to me and tells a bunch of us that there is a booth with herbal liquid ecstasy for free. I was not into it cuz I did not do chemical drugs… as of yet.. but my BF at the time was.. So we went a I took a huge pile of them and put them in my backpack so I could give them to my friends … a while later when walking to the trip hop area it got f**king weird. When looking around all of a sudden people were just dropping to there knees… like they suddenly lost there legs.. Very creepy. I remember after that people saying on the mic saying "DON’T TAKE THE HERBAL ECSTASY CALLED LIQUID FX" They tol us to turn all the vials back in and the booth that was giving them out obviously left. I guess it was the combo of the FX and real chemical drugs because my ex felt nothing.. Also on the side of the vial it said the dosage was one cap full.. Now why distribute it ina vial LOL When the party began to change and getting more n more out of hand and they shut it down.. Shit got mad crazy. As I got out of the venue people were jumping on that HUUUUGE inflatable clown.. Once in the street I saw bunch of kids rocking the bus from side to side in hopes it would fall over.. AND IT DID! It was amazing and unreal.. The sound was soo loud!
As I was watching this from the street I herd a loud noise, almost chant like, behind me and saw a the S.W.A.T. all lined up and they were yelling s**t out and began to march towards us and we all ran.. After I found my ride we ran to the parking structure to get the car and I saw friends all round me getting shot w rubber bullets.. Once we found our car I saw a couple kids taking a empty 25lb tank and throwing it over (we were 3 floors up) and falling on a cop car!

Thank goodness we got out safe.. We ended up spending the countdown in a gas station with some burritos

Growing up in Seattle we would hear about these parties but by the time this got to us the story was that 100 kids were shot by the LAPD and Frankie Bones caused a Riot after knocking out a cop in line because they wouldn't let him in the party. Like playing a game of telephone up the west coast haha.

such hoax in Southern California this month.

No trace of the potentially deadly bacterium was found in preliminary

If inhaled and then left untreated, anthrax spores can cause
respiratory failure and death within a week.

About 800 people were kept inside the club for about four hours while
the air-conditioning system was checked and samples taken for further

Clubgoers then were taken outside and given information on anthrax
symptoms. They were then allowed to return to the club if they wished.

anyone remember X-ING 1996?! i watched that naked boy acting like an airplane drop to his knees then his face. his body began to like curlup and shake. he was makin those LOUD ass birdsounds. it was during electric skychurch live. the freaky part was that nobody was helping him. we werent sure if he was havin the time of his life or dyin? he started peein allover n so finally some older chix piked him up and carried him off. so what ever happened w that?

I remember seeing a few kids laying in a bloody mess after being stabbed down in the hardcore room . I think it was at a Monster Massive...given the state I was in it was def not a good look..

reading this thread reminded me of the crazy s**t i saw at Nation. anybody else remember that awesome f**king party? the dnb area was between two very large abandoned buildings that are now the HQ for american apparel.

so anyway i remember being very much into the music and seeing a guy getting up on stage, he started stage right and worked his way to the left until he was sitting right underneath the turntables, the whole time he's bopping along to the tunes when he bopped to hard and caused the record to skip. The dj at the time, it could have been UFO or Machete freaked the f**k out and started manically punching the guy on the head and in the face. It was a moment that definitely changed the vibe for a good hour, it added an especially sinister vibe to the already dark music.

We got a refund for them minus the Ticketmaster fees.

I have them somewhere.....need to hook up my scanner.


My boy Danny was the first one to get sick that night.

The RTD that was held because of it was August 10th, 1997, it was the day I met Jughead and my life changed forever.

A certain LA threatened to kill me once behind the deck because I wouldn't make my deejays get off the decks in the main room, bc they shut down the jungle room upstairs.

lol. I remember the Nocturnal Wonderland where the location was changed at the last minute to the indian reservation. Some of the indians were pissed, and pulled guns on some of the vehicles. That party was an enormous dust cloud. My friends were hacking up dirt chunks for the next two weeks. Luckily I had a painter's mask.

WOWOWOWOW I just got major chills.. razy to see people dance like that.. havent seen ANYTHING like that in a LOONG time. I would love to get my footage of that party up on youtube
