Good one Daryl! Ibiza is pretty much tha place....but there's no dnb there. Well, there is, but it's in limited quantities, and they make you pay an extra cover to go see it (sorry, bad experience lol).
Besides Ibiza, I've always really wanted to go to Brazil...and I've heard there's some dnb there. hehe. Plus, the 'beeeaches' are nice too. |

there are soooooooooooooooooo many incredible places around the world to check out
i'd def recommend spain and italy if you haven't been to either. they have dnb parties too like sun and bass on sardinia (as mentioned) and innovation in the sun. not to mention the incredible food and everything about those countries is phenomenal
in 2010 is the world cup in south africa!! dnb and soccer and africa all in one spot hehe
japan has always been intruiguing to me but it's on the expensive side i hear, they do have dnb there! even on okinawa
eastern europe is affordable and makes you feel like you are on a real adventure haha. the farther east in europe i go the less i feel like i am in kansas
think about BRAZIL tho i would say. beaches for miles, 10 to 1 girl to guy ratios, capirinhas, dnb parties... seems like a winner to me
what i would recommend is to find promoters where you intend to go and just say "hey i am dre and i am headed your way" and see who puts you on their lineup!
no matter where you end up i hope it's better than you imagined! |

im talking london for a week, i want to go to the epicenter of dnb.
renegade parties, hospitality, fabric the list goes on.......
aside from that the art scene is off the hook the architecture is ancient and when you get sick of the city you just hop a ferry over to amsterdam.
i dont think there is any renegad hardware parties in aruba hahhahahaaaa

wow, nobody's mentioned Amsterdam, way cheaper then London, best DnB scene besides London, centrally located for train trips to Belgium, Germany, and France + the coffee shops, amazing nightlife, and beautiful women... just my 2cents...
...oh and the most insane New Years celebration in the streets that I have ever seen..

I took this in 2004...5 towns 5 miles apart...you either hike a path 200 ft above the mediterranean which takes 3 hours to get from the first town to the last town...OR take a train that takes 10 mins...NO motorized vehicles allowed in any of the 5 towns...pretty remote place.

Perth Australia is probably one of the most isolated cities in the world but for some reason has a massive amount of junglists who live there. Check out The Belvoir Amphitheatre there. You won't have been to a better venue for dnb. Also has nice beaches, great weather and is sooo chilled out.
Brazil is a great place, an adventure some might say. DnB isn't as big there as some people might think. You would need to go to Sao Paulo to find it and maybe in Rio if you are lucky. |

If DnB scene is what you are after then London is the place.
Get onto Youtube and type in TruePlayaz night Fabric or Hospitality at Heaven and you'll see what i mean and thats only two of the big ones.
On a different note, I regularly go to Thailand Full Moon party in Ko Phangan island.
It has nice beaches and the few days lead up to the full moon is really fun. You get a lot of backpackers there who stop off for one or two weeks from their travels to party. There is a club on the beach called Sunrise which plays dnb. If you have never been to east asia before then Thailand is a good place to start off. |

well I went to london and as for jungle its there...but not as huge as everyone thinks it is...alot of the dnb is outside the city of london in the smaller towns.
I went record shopping in london and they had 4 stores...2 of which you couldnt even listen to the tunes (just pick them up off the stand and buy them), 1 shop was a hip hop/danchall store (good stuff) and the other shop was blackmarket records...very good store and nikki is there to help ya out with everything...
if I was to suggest a junglist to go somewhere and live and breathe jungle I would say check out Toronto, CA. 19 to drink. the clubs are always packed...jungle is always in some club some day of the week and they have great record stores. playderecord.com is one of them.

DnB is definatly there in abundance. You just have to know where to look as london is big. Plenty of clubs both big and small. 18 to drink.
As for record shops, well most people buy online now so the demand for record shops is no longer there although let me tell you there are more then 4. |

Just got back yesterday from 2 weeks in Thailand. My second time there.
Dre, I'm tellin you if you want to go to an absolutely pristine location where you can island hop to several gorgeous beaches (i don't like to stay in one place) easily; Thailand can be done for less than $100 a day EASY!
Plus, if your looking for DnB, you can always hit up the Full Moon Party on Ko Phan Ngan.
I played there twice and can point you to the guys that do the DnB club there. I'm sure that you could get on the mic all night. Plus, the biggest FMP of the year is in January.
Next time I see you out, we'll have a chat about it.
