Heavy1 Album Sampler 12" (Rubik Records RRT019)



Rubik Records presents the sampler for the forthcoming "Minimalized" album by Japan's Heavy1. After making a name for himself internationally with his expert production and powerful songs, we felt the time was right for a larger project. The A side "Judge" is a collaboration with June Miller, a tough dark techno meets dnb rhythm that has been receiving heavyweight dj support from all of the big djs. The flip "Light Upon My Road" provides a more musical excursion featuring the vocals of Iriann Joyce, and shows Heavy1's versatility and strength as a musician.
