Recommendations on a CD-DJ player?
I'm looking for the most affordable, basic CD "turntable" I guess is what they're called. I don't want to be mixing CD's really but its a tool I think I'd like to have for the off-chance mixing of old s**t I have on CD (foreign language hiphop and other weird stuff)...
I don't need a lot of features, I only want to be able to mix with some reasonable degree of accuracy. No effects or funky stuff. I'm thinking economics here heheh. Any suggestions? |

Re: Recommendations on a CD-DJ player?
the pioneer cdj-100s is basically a cd turntable. plays cds and has a pitch, that's all ya need... even has a few built in effects. They're like 300 I believe..
I know American DJ and Stanton both have similar low end models out as well.. Not sure how they are.. Pioneers are durable tho. |

Re: Recommendations on a CD-DJ player?
the pioneer cdj-100 is mos def the way to go. very durable (i've had mine for 3 years through much travel) will play through almost any scratch on a disc, easy cueing. pitch bar plus jet tube, wah and zip fx. now that the upper end models are out you should be able to get them mad cheap. a lot of heads shout about the 1000 but that scratching thing is ok at best, if ya wanna cut stick to vinyl (imo). save the extra 4 or 5 bills (each!) and go with the 100s.
