don't be distracted by people's stories. the police in Mex do not arrest you for no reason. if you keep your cool and do not attract any attention to yourself or selves, then you're good to go. if the police do happen to give you some beef for "no apparent reason" then just go along with their flow and DO NOT ACT A FOOL!
last year's Roasarito party was OFF THE FUCKING HOOK. one of the best vibes of a party I have been to. what makes this so great you ask? it's the combination of a few things-
1. drum n bass
2. you are out of your normal surroundings with drum n bass
3. you are with friends, total strangers and a grip of drum n bass
4. the sun is out and you're in Mexico, having a great time partying to drum n bass.
5. the sun goes down, the partiers are still in full effect and there is still.....DRUM N BASS.
I highly advise you make it to Mexi if at all possible. These guys have got a good thing going.....and it will only get better. |

Don't take drinks from strangers. Don't try to start s**t with security guards at other clubs. If they don't give you your change, that means you got bitched. You try to argue and their homies (la policia) are gonna be on your ass. Let's see, other than that, stay sober enough on that last day before you leave so your brain is still working and you should be alright. |

YES, you can get arrested in Mexico for no reason. I don't think it happens all that often, but it happened to my friend. He was wwwaaaayyyyyy trashed at a club and went outside for a smoke and some fresh air and was just standing there when the cops came up and arrested him and 3 other random guys who were outside with him. He had no way of letting his friends inside know what happened, etc. He just got screwed, spent a night in jail, released the next day, didn't really even get an explination. Some girl complained her ass got pinched and that's why they said they hauled him in, but they gave him no reason they should have believed it was him or anything.
I just suggest having someone else with you at all times so if anything happens, your friends will know were you are.

I go to mexico 1-2 times a week and I have never been arrested..
I have been pulled over for minor traffic voilations but I paid for my tickets on the spot if you get my drift LOL.... $20.00 goes a log way..
Respect the local authorites...
Don't get into or be near any fights, steer clear of any brawls. Cops tend to arrive on the fight scene and take any suspects who are around the fight...
and dont do anything you wouldn't do in the US....

yeah i got hella f**ked up last year and i was fine. it's really easy to stay out of trouble... just stay out of trouble. don't start fights with bar owners. the people who got arrested last year started trouble. that's all there is to it.
as for pill i recomend stay the f**k away. people were taking way to many meds last year and there were some problems related to that.
other than that just get drunk (skip on drinks with ice) on beer and tequila, enjoy some lobster and ceviche and party!
it's a beautiful club on the beach and the hotels have great ocean views. you can't beat it for the price.
