the annual rally to stop police brutality ...10/22
wasup ...juss dropping by, reminding whoevers interested to go to the anti police brutality and repression protest going on next wednesday, the 22nd ...the meeting spot is at 2pm at olympic and broadway in downtown l.a. ....and we'll be marching to the l.a.p.d. headquarters ....for more information go to http://www.october22.org .......spread the word on this, and try to make it dammit!!! ...oh yeah and theres a list of other rallys going on around the country for all u non l.a. heads ...peace

thank you soo much for posting this. seriously though, it's a very important issue that needs to be addressed more openly. props to activists out there who are trying to implement positive changes in any form and on any level.

i've gone to very one of these Oct 22 rallies...
they'r hell of fun! exciting...satisfying
obviously it's INTENSE!
(mainly safe, but you never know what will happen - esp how the cops will react...)
What a day - to be able to turn the tables (just a little) on the mf'ers!
But one thing i notice that is always missing: a Jungleist contiengent!
Like a group of heads - holding up a graff banner - "police brutality - bloodklot"
and someone with a boom box blasting some ragga-jungle "babylon" and some dark s**t too!
come on man, lets get it together!
DAVE! I know your on your voting tip, but you know the importance of voting with your feet too! Get your youth for clark out there anyways!

in fact, there should be a "decorating party" right before the day... (a bunch of people get together and make signs, banner etc for the protest)
I'll let you know the info - that might work out too...

ya ...sounds good to me ...that would be madd dope if a big group of us got together to make our own signs and banners ....we can most definately get together ...like the night before or a couple days before the event ..or even in the morning ...i duno ...i duno where we could do this at ...lol ...but hit me up if u guys plan anything ,...peace |
