Due to circumstances beyond our control ESCAPE regrets to anounce that we will be unable to present this years Atlantis Festival in its originally planned massive format. Instead, we will be implementing a fresh new approach that will go beyond the usual...
* WE WILL NOT BE CANCELLING OUR EVENT *
* ALL PRESALE TICKETS WILL BE HONORED *
ATLANTIS now takes on a new, innovative approach to the underground "venue".
For the first time ever, ESCAPE will combine 3 of LA's most prominent dance venues,
creating 3 distictly intimate, yet breathable settings, situated in Hollywood, Downtown, and Chinatown!!!
ATLANTIS will be divided into 3 locations, with the House and Drum & Bass talent at the BRAND NEW Q-Topia In Hollywood, The Progressive/Trance Talent at The Orion Event Center, and the Hardcore/Happy Hardcore talent at The Carousel in Chinatown. Please be adivsed that The Hip Hop stage has been postponed, because our insurance underwriter refused to assume liability for the talent at any of the venues available to us at this time. A future event will be planned...
Starblazin' Travel will be hosting FREE Safe and Secure Transportation ALL NIGHT between the 3 venues by way of
Several FREE large shuttle busses running between the 3 venues !!!
All ticket holders will have full access to all 3 venues,
with free safe & secure shuttle transportation!!!
ALL ACCESS Tickets, which will give you the freedom to travel freely between all 3 venues,
including transportation will be available at ALL venues.
Timeslots, Locations, Directions, and General Event Info sheets will be provided at each venue.

you can't see it cuz of the font, but metalheadz, photek, and ak1200 will all be playing the main room i think. if you go to the website it has names highlighted in red. it says all of those people will be in the main room. |

creative or not man, i got my presales and i want a f**ken party. hands down. id rather not be screwed out of my money and get to go to a party where the whole lineup is AWESOME talent. but yeah it f**king sucks, but we all know that, its a given. im just happy something was pulled out. and why does everyone keep saying 45 bucks? its 35 and there are 3 venues you can go to.. at the same time.. not that i will, but the option is there. its bad, yeah, but its something. |

There will be a www.bombglass.com booth but NO DJs & MCs etc., and all that good stuff due to all of this. But look in the near future for Green Gorillaz events (where we are not relying on others). Bigg ups to all the talent who were down to spinn and contribute their services for free!!!!! |

this was done last year up in frisco. they split up the part in diff locations.... all i remember is people hated it..they couldnt find their friends and people left mad. then one location got shut down..hope nothing like that happens here. |

Just to leyt you guys know that I was just informed that Goldie and the metalheadz tour is still not confirmed despite what the Escape events website says.....I was told they would let me know by the end of the day if they have been confirmed. |

You can look at it that way..or you can look at it..spending half the night on busses with a bunch of sweaty smelly ass E'd out ravers asking for a lightshow..
I wouldnt mind seeing kimball collins and micro...but ya know...im not gonna wait at a bus stop to do it..
how often do the busses run? every 15 min..half hr?? almost like taking the tram at disney land to yur car.....i give props to everyone for trying..but this 3 venue thing is a bit out of control.... |

and i bet the drum n bass deejays scheduled to play the mainstage will also play at the q-topia, if they even come out.
all i can say is if you go, try your hardest to have fun and don't criticize things till the party is over. give it a chance |
