It's a great thing to subscribe to. You should do it. I have been interning/volunteering at KCRW for a while, they are a great station. |

i do. got a free subscription to urb, a t-shirt, plus the benefits card...if you listen to the station, i feel you should subscribe in order for it to continue to bring us great music.... |

and kxlu for 1....

KJZZ and KCRW are the only stations I listen to...okay sometimes I listen to 104.7's house mix just to throw up because they play that same ten songs they've been playing since 1996. |

i have been a subscriber, but lately i have been havin sum troubles w/ their news stations + what they are discussin, but i feel tha music for tha most part, aneways big ups to kpfk, i am def. a supporter of this station. they bring it w/ tha truth and tha diversity in music that i really feel and want to hear, ya know? |

KPFK 1 year
KCRW is great for music...their news are sometimes biased...that's when I turn to KPFK...KPFK also has good music though... |

I have been a subscriber for several years now (I think about 7 or so).
I'm not feeling the music as much as I used to. Morning Becomes Eclectic is not that eclectic to me anymore. Every time I turn it on there is some acoustic guitar type music on. Bleh. Okay, some of that is alright, but jeez, I'm falling asleep over here. |

Jason Bently used to play dnb every now and then on Metropolis, but as of the last year he hasn't. I remember hearing him one time say how he was glad that dnb was moving away from the "dark" sound and more towards the "jazzy" sound. So, I guess the general consensus at KCRW is that smoother stuff is cool...which I guess is obvious from any of their shows. |
