OK OK I said I'd post more photos & I found some good ones & I HIGHLY doubt anybody would recognize this location to kill its integrity SO.....
like I've said, photos don't actually do it justice but this is part of a cool interactive java applet online that you can zoom in & out & scroll....jsm me if you wanna see that....area 2 is below ground level & obscured on the left - area 1 will be next to that large tailing pile of rocks on the right...the middle is a vast parking & camping area:
just up the hillside from that panorama are tunnels looking out over the entire area:
in the distance you see the large plateau for area 1 & also the chasm for area 2 & even the dark hillside where the tunnels are in the last photo:
this is bassically looking the exact opposite way as the last photo, from area 2:
its tuff to get a feel for the scale of the area in those photos but you could easily fit a thousand people over this huge area.
tomorrow at this time we'll be runnin around like mad men so get your emials in today! Gonna be a great weekend!!! |
