if every "anti-YOUR CREW" thread on JS gets deleted..

aren't we as a "scene" and a forum for discussion lacking some sort of accountability? isn't public criticism and inquiry part of the deal here, even in the cases that it is unwarranted or unfounded?

i think that individuals in the 45psi thread were communicating publicly when they should have sent an email or picked up the phone, and were embarassing themselves - on both sides of the coin.

however, if everyone believes in their position, both 45psi as a crew as well as those unhappy in some form or other, then where is there anything to hide? if it's been resolved, edit out the posts and say, "no worries, we're all good!"

asking admins to pull down this sort of thread is weak. you can edit out your own post if you dont like it, but of course that looks like a cop-out. getting a bunch of your friends together to rank down the first post so that the thread goes away is also weak. whatever happened, i think it would have been an interesting discussion of how promoters/dj's/crews interact and should do. i think it would have ended productively and i wish it had stayed up.

i think that "contributing to the scene" means speaking your mind, doing what you feel, and supporting the people you respect- whether thats 45psi or my team of indian villagers throwing stones or someone who says they've been wronged. let's all do it constructively!

for the record, i think 45psi puts together some of the most professional events i've been to. i'm not anti-them at all. i also see pete and sara working hard. i'm not anti-them either. i'm just pro-discussion i suppose, i guess its one of the ways i like to think i "contribute".

also: if you think it has anything to do with money then you dont know me. it has everything to do with having a solid, sound scene where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

I'm all for freedom of expression of opinions

BUT when you call someone out on a message board it pretty hard to defend youself when everyone has there .02 about something they may not be fully informed about...

maybe the primary parties involved do know everything but the everage js person might form an opinion on a bias of credibilty of "well there my homie to they must be right"

but opinions should be welcomed not s**t talking and attack of a person or a group of people

that thread was not started to hurt or tarnish the 45psi name, so dont let it affect you in a bad way as a partygoer. they throw great events and that cant be denied. what i said was a little harsh and inacurate(i'm a leo)and i appologize for that. 45psi will still put on good events im sure and i wish them luck in all their endevours.

For the record I am not really sure what went on yesterday. I was not online and when I logged in the post was already erased. To each there own I guess. I really dont need to know all to much I cant stand drama. But its good to know you have friends out there.

45PSI does throw great parties both in LA and SD. I will still be a supporter. My problem was not with the name 45PSI but with one incident and one person. I am not going to not support because of this. I will still be there front and center! I appreciate all they do for the scene.

what happen yesterday was meant to happen, i guess peeps had alot on their mind and just spoke the truth, it didnt sound nice at one point, but it was only people's opinion, so i dont think there were any hard feelings, just freedom of speech from couple of guys, thats it

to much politics some times, and when couple of guys just broke it down people got hurth, and afraid of loosing money with next event they took the post out,
i was plannin on taking the post down because it got to negative, to many fingers were pointing on 45psi, when the whole post was more like giving props to 45psi for throwing good s**t in sd, but f**k it, i was confused at one point
45psi is doing something good, even though many might not like them because of personal problems with the crew, i believe that they are deff a good positive thing for a the la scene and maybe some kats will give them a chance

and to be real, if any of the arguments were true about 45psi, i think thats lame and gay, so as much as i appreciate rapture, which is really, good, all the other shady s**t sucks, so f**k politics just speaking my mind

many times messy situations like this boil down to miscommunication / misinterpreting messages. some things i said were harsh and other things were assumptions. i'm never one to make peace with people unless i really mean it. with that said, i'll most likely be in attendance at the next 45psi function. respect.

we have a unique scene we have to coexist/communicate/cooperate because the jungle pie is a small one and if we all fight over it we will all lose....we must also remember that those of us that are in it for the long haul will be seeing each other and working with each other for, well, the long haul so we have to be able to vent without hurting each other...that said, there should always be a forum for people to get things off their chest....I think that ultimately that is a posivite....if you read this far, thanks
