Los Angeles MC's Holding It Down
Just wanted to give a shout out to all the mc heads here in LA doing s**t proper and pushing the music.
there has been alot of talk about mc's this and mc's that. Theres are some dope mc's here in LA and I think everyone is doing a solid J.O.B.

I never said it did... I just think a drum and bass mc should let the music breath. They dont have to flow over evry beat or track.

Don't forget the two original pioneers of the West Coast, back in late 1992 these two cats were seen brocking out on the MIC at LA's Infamous Club Jungle.

If it was'nt for these guys, the m.cing art would have took alot longer to get established.
These guys were documented by URB mags NEXT 100 (199  as being the original pioneers of Southern Cali scene.
KEMST has always been proffesional and he never bit the fake UK accent, he stuck to his Hip Hop background which definetly made him one of my favorite MC's.
At the end of the day, an MC should know when to rock lyrics and when to let the music do the talking, when its done right, theres no better vibe, when an MC's screaming over every beat, it defeats the power of the mix.
