I really do have an oddball habit of tasting rocks. More so when I was a kid but I've had doctors tell me it's because I'm anemic (lack of iron in blood) so my body aparently naturally wants that to compensate.

and YES, this is a prerequisite for being a true desert rat.

i awoke to the sound of 22s... that was definetly my cue to leave! i don't care how good you are with a gun, eecue is right. i think im gonna stick to parties without guns from now on... not cool guys

nah here is the deal... partying is great. guns are great...

here is how you do it right:

1. keep the group small 6-10 people is good.
2. make sure everyone there has ear and eye protection
3. make sure everyone there is familiar with proper gun safety techniques
4. shoot when you get there for a few hours
5. get drunk, etc.
6. go to sleep.
7. wake up and go shooting again.

i did adapt to them. i danced the entire time on those rocks. me and like 5 other people, no one else was brave enough. that's why i'm upset, dancefloors shouldn't be scarey, they should be crowd-friendly. that's basic, is it not?

this post was to demonstrate my absolute stupidity now ya here.

And if it makes you feel better: the gun was NOT loaded kiddies, it was about 11am at this point & there were about 8 people left at the party! Maybe less. quit trippin.


OH and the rocks...you'd be diggin for days if you wanted to get rid of them! I actually wanted the dancefloor to be setup down below in the ravine but camping party people were already on site & set up when we got there so thems the breaks.


I like rocks. I eat them remember.

OH & I wasn't on the dancefloor because I was busy rounding people up in the desert & leading them to the location. I got to the "dancefloor" at about 3am at which point you were already in your car. asleep. trying to avoid the inevitable pissing upon the face.

good point doesha....unfortunately I don't think rocks would even be mentioned if this party went off as expected. As soon as it became less-than-expected, ALL the little minute technicalities bacame a factor for some peeps.

you see my pictures on this site of unit during the morning? i was up till after the sun came up. what you talking bout 3 o'clock? i was front row dancing all night. from 11-6

of course some rocks are okay but if you woulda rounded up 5 people, taken 5 minutes, and taken out the BIGGEST rocks, you coulda had something there. i know there are rocks in the desert but it's like setting a tent. you clear out the big rocks first dumb s**t!!

If you go to an outdoor party, those are the kind of things you are going to deal with.
So deal with it. Don't sit and bitch about something that someone else took their time to organize and get together. If you have such a problem with it, then go do something constructive about it. Like maybe seek out another location for future parties that doesn't have rocks.
But to whine about it is immature and unappriciative.

My booty woulda been shaking away right in the middle of all the rocks.
It's a f**kin outdoor party. That's what you get. If you REALLY don't like it, don't go next time.

First of all, if they were such a big problem for you, you should have moved them yourself!

Second, that is the stupidest thing you could do calling him a dumbs**t after he went out of his way so that you would have something to do that night.

Third and most important, the 805 doesn't want your ass up here stinking it up. Stay the f**k away from my area! Or you'll get more then just pissed on!

I could sit here, point at this rock & yell at it & become part of half a dozen peoples bad vibe OR...I can pick this rock up, move it to a more secure location & become a part of half a dozen peoples GOOD vibe. The choice is YOURS friends and SO IS THE VIBE!!

I apologize for the rocks, the lack of tarps - which were sitting to the side of the speakers all night & all sorts of shortcomings. If I coulda been in more places than 1 that night I woulda come cross on all levels. Which we DID by the way. Theres always next time & for the record, this party was a success in my eyes.

DSC posts are like a Michael Jackson album....everybody & their underaged brother wants to get in on it just to see what all the fuss is about...then when they're in on it they get pissed because it aint what it's cracked up to be!!!

or they just straight groove on the DSC but then see Kurt Loder talking s**t on it so they join the bandwagon & throw the "Thriller" album away!
