There was nothin repin that the video nor the sound was produced by me.
Its a blurt of an artists point on things...
I don't see you D.J.ing and callin the names of all the tunes that you play.
I mean you are using their artistic talent and using it for your own colabration of your artistic expression.

a few things...
first, the quote "still not done with it" infers that you had some hand in creating the piece, which leads to the thought, did he also create the music & footage as well?, its just natural human thought.not some sort of accusation.
second, when calculon posts a mix, he also posts a track listing (some times im down, sometimes im not  ))
finally, calculon isnt tryin to call you out, hes merely stating a fact that you yourself, an artist, can appreciate. That you give credit to contributors... if i use someone elses picture in a design, they get a credit, if i use someone elses music for a mix, same thing...

I'm not sure that source-citing is the biggest issue at hand...
I think that promoting, encouraging, advocating, or even tolearting street brawls, with or without any association to D&B/J, should be the issue. It's that kind of mentality that encourages not only our "scene" but our entire society to spiral further downward.
I've said it before, and I'm saying it again - I've traveled the country, seeing jungle scenes all over, and L.A. hands down has things on lock. However, the only thing that I detest about shows here is kids who decide that moshing has a place in our club. Sad...
Oh yeah, this isn't an attack on anyone, just my proverbial two cents. |

yeah they do fight like girls, put some s**t from blood sport or ufc in there.
dnb is definetly an adrenaline pumping music, used in the right context, one can make an extremely intense video...
some people hate violence but it needs to be depicted so we can do something to stop it! |
