Good old Metropolis, I accidentally went the week before and had to watch Rabbit in the Moon when homeboy was starting to wear weird costumes (shyzer)When I went the following week, I remember getting kicked out for hooking up a friend who was 20 with my bracelet, next ting, I get bum rushed out, but I still heard the toons nice whilst taking s**t to these campus security pricks.
Met Goldie, reminised about peicing back in the UK, the man was a ruff writer in the mid UK 80's, he bombed subway tunnel trains down in the underworld of New York with a writer called Brim from TAT who was associated with Africa bambatta and the Zulu nation from the Bronx, plus Kool DJ Red Alert..back in the Hip Hop/writing days. Check Spraycan Art (by Henry Chalfant) and hes in there reppin the UK.
