I think this is one of the most creative pieces of printing that I have ever seen. It must have cost a fortune to print. Two 4 color + gold foiling sheets, single dark pantone blue color on a semi-opaque vellum sheet, diecut, folded and stiched into a booklet. My jaw hit the floor when I got this flyer.
I love all the 3D characters, anime artwork, colors and techno graphics on this flyer. And what rave flyer wouldnt be complete without the obligatory LENS FLARE ?!
The sad thing is, I heard this event had a tragic fate - not nearly enough people came out and the promoters lost their asses.
Cheer's to Analogue Systems and Demo Design - this is my most favorite flyer ever.

thats funny how the party was in detroit yet none of the "techno godfathers" played there....
which brings me to the Planet Ten Party we had here in L.A. that had most of them. it was around 98 or so. i didn't go but the lineup was pretty cool!!! |

I think DJ Bone from Detroit explained it to me best.
In Detroit, everyone is out for themselves. DJ's step on each other as much as possible, fighting for some small spotlight. Crews hardly work together. Its like a constant battle.
He also called Chicago "bizzare-o world detroit" because everything is the total opposite. Everyone is each others homie and work together. Just a friendlier city I guess.
This is mind, it doesnt surprise me much that the Detroit players arent listed.
What is kinda cool to me is RAW is listed above Dieselboy. |
