FaFi!
So my girlfriend got some early preview invite to macs new line of fafi makeup. Luanna is a huge fafi fan and so i was kept in the loop of the new products and was happy to find out they had some new limited toys that were only 9bux apiece. yea im a vinyl toy junkie to a lesser degree (i dont compare to the true vinylpjiles but i waste my share of loot...stupid). The sad thing is that the packaging on the makeup is garbage, cheap plastic offset stickers mounted on generic black plastic, very wak. In an interview i read fafi said she hadnt even seen the finals as of 2 weeks ago, i hope shes pissed, cause theyre janky. but the toys are alright for the price range and the special release bags were proper.
As i caught myself swept up in hype buying toys in the mac store i also kind kringed. yea i got my toys, but so did some 17 year old girls. and they were less excited than i was. yikes.

actually, am a huge fan of fafi art, but interestingly enough, am not diggin' any of this shizz... but, also - haven't seen in real life, am only able to judge from these pics...
good for her on the make-up line though. =] |

^^^ the mailer i got last week didnt look much better than the pics above. Not really feelin it. it just isnt as detailed as her good stuff. this just looks so plain and has a FAFI lable...
Props to her for getting the opprotunity to do the line and get all that exposure tho. i ususally love all her stuff.

yea i agree to a certain extent. its a lackluter product. but for collectors sake, you cant beat a package like this. its a weird line man, i bought extras of everything to sell and gift. and for 9 bux its the cheapes fafi piece you can buy. it is highly watered down for american teens tho. |
