art in strange places?
miss bassie made me think of this one, she reminded me about the hotel des arts in SF. its a hotel that features rooms that are hand painted by many featured artists.

anyone else find art in strange places or know of art motels in other cities?
i think there is another in seattle.

piston and i had this weird tribal pattern room. the hotel was right in the middle of the redlight district but it was really cozy and safe. more of a hostel with one bathroom per floor, but worth the 40 bux a night. |

that hotel was sick.. I've been to the one in SF... buff monster aka butmuncher (to those in the graffiti world) has a room, which means art is still about who you know not how good you are... this was on a porn set |
