existance 5 poster/flyer..
Me and some friends spent at least an hour breaking down how awful this deseign is... oh my god!!!
I can not believev anyone paid to get that awful thing done..
I wish I had a digital file to opst but every car around adrenaline ;ast night got one on their wind shield... |

bad borders
and the kicker...
...ITS NOT CROPPED!
no creative integrity in the rave design game. alot of money tho it appears. if only i could get a promoter to invest in that type of propaganda. |

btw it was at overload...we came out and htere were giant sheets of white paper on the windshield of every car... what a waste of time money and resources. |

no $$ at all actually. when i was freelancing fultime doin flyers fwhen i first moved out here, i was lucky if i got 2-300 for the initial design + all the different sized layouts. they usually would want it turned aroud like in a day too nevermind trying to track down all the dj's for their affiliate info and logos...gawd what a f**kin headache.
but yea..rave art sucks arse! |

it seems like more of a novelty of the past tho, seein a flyer clearly done in paint and printed at kinkos, or the bad 3d rendering, or the hand drawn house party flyers, or a full color chop shop in photoshop 3.5.
theres something pure to those, like the punk movement, whereas these are just lazy designers with no grasp of typography, color, balance or technical programs.
and as far as the money comment, i meant promoters with money to spend on 18x24 full color glossy, although they saved by not cutting them?!?!!??!... clearly the designer aint gettin paid s**t, or it might be a lil better. |
