What does your resume look like?
Do you send a PDF or bring a black book with your prints when you go for an interview.
I've seen some spiffy resumes and am looking to spiffy mine up, lets see yours! |

Ok, so I'm going to be making a PDF doc in InDesign of 5 of my best samples and my resume.
Any other tips? I know not to make it super graphic intense and let the work speak for itself. Anything else? |

people who hire graphic designers tend to really suck at opening pdfs, have a website ready for them to skim through for just in case ness ? |

Yah, gonna pretty much have a one page scroll down type thing showcasing the best work only, then a link to ALL of it if they want more.

I have a standard issue resume I use, since that's how most people are identified and processed through the average HR department. Once I'm actually in the door for an interview, I walk the interviewer through a variety of projects either directly from a CD or online.
However, most of the time I'm approached by people who already know they want to work with me, so there's no real resume submission or interview process. |

your a designer - it shouldnt matter where you went to school or what places you worked at - it should be more about "Lets see your work" - and in motion, its mostly that |
