Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I wonder why this dood chooses to voice his opinion in this fashion (it doesn't really command respect it just seems to draw negetivity). Personally, there's no reason to dis the dubstep movement. Yet another child in the breakbeat-underground-bass movement has been born and its name is dubstep, so why not celebrate the diversity or just ignore the new style if you're not into it.
The dubstep we've heard so far has been both massive and premature, but that usually what you get when new forms are born into the music world. Looking forward to watching dupstep grow, watch out cos of course you know we've been workin on dirty dubsteppers and we'll be lookin' for dubstep dj's and fellow producers to drop the heaters when the time is right.
BIG up all things drum & bass, and all genres to follow thereafter.

we're all trying to get to the same place but through different routes.
i know there are people that would love to turn dubstep into the next jungle but it just isn't like that. there are influences yes. yes there are some disgruntled 'junglists' doing something with it, but it really is something different. the amount of new faces coming out to strictly dubstep events is evidence of that. of course scenesters will come and mill around, try and get in the spotlight because its the cool thing, but there are a pretty solid group of people behind the all-dubstep nights that are pushing the sound and trying to get different audiences involved. trust me i say the junglescene is only a part of the overall audience we're trying to get at.
