TAPIR : S7 EP : Subtrak 001 : Available on Beatport
San Diego Dubstep artist Tapir debuts on Subtrak Records with the S7 EP. This five track EP brings some of the dirtiest and most technical beats to the genre, sure to ignite bassbins from here to Bristol. Each track is unique, while at the same time pays homage to the distinct style that has been sweeping across the globe with untouchable fury. Rounding out the EP is a pristine dub-techno remix of the title track from Christian Bloch.

A beautiful yet twisted collections of sounds and beats designed for dancefloor destruction.
B. DEF BEATS
Tapir slows it down a touch with Def Beats, a dark and plodding tune with deep bass and crisp beats.
C. SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES
Sinister sounds and punishing drums combined with warping basslines makes this track a must-have for DJs representing the darkest of dubstep.
D. EARTH
Definitely a tune for the end of the party, Earth combines clean subs, acid lines and cool atmospheres.
E. CATACOMBS
Catacombs is a brutal assault on eardrums and bassbins alike. Strange descending sounds, evil stabs and tough drums keep the track moving at all times.
F. S7 (CHRISTIAN BLOCH REMIX)
Remixing the title track S7 is acclaimed techno artist Christian Bloch. Focusing on the smooth elements in Tapir's tune, Christian creates a minimal masterpiece.
