nothing wrong with paying homage to your predesessors and bringing your patrons world-class talent. smog was founded on showcasing stateside talent before reaching out overseas, and they still rep stateside just as hard and often as foreigners. we may fundamentally be anglophilles but this sounds broken the regional barrier. why default to polarizing with "us" & "them"? s**t's popping worldwide now. and thank god for that, i can now travel anywhere and get my bass fix :] |
