Dubstep has come a long way...
i was looking back at posts, and reading the "dubstep is wack" and then i was digging through the clubs and parties section and noticed that a good percentage of shows now have dubstep some how included with their theme...
i just wanted to say big up to all those pushing this sound...
it was a bit rocky in the beginning, but the fire has started...i dont see it going out any time soon....

I actually shipped smog releases and lo dubs to Guanajuato Mexico. I have an old friend starting up a Dubstep - Grimme nigth it's gaining popularity there. |

pretty sure kode9 played in san francisco in 2003?
i take it the l.a. scene has had weekly/monthly dubstep nites the past few years?

jeeeeeez,
dubstep is a child of the rave scene just like jungle... it needs to be cared for and it will flourish.
...that means not playing the same sounding crap just like 8/10 jumpup drum & bass djs these days which IMHO is killing me.
(excluding all the great eclectic selektas out there)
