R.I.P. Tim Easton (Uncut's brother)
A terrible tragedy has struck our community. Last weekend, Tim Easton got hit by a car and was killed. Services will be held at 2:00 tomorrow, Thursday 3/22/07. Please JSM if you would like to attend.
Tim was a really good guy. Though I only met him a couple of times, he genuinely made me feel like I was a good friend rather than an acquaintance. He was close with his family, and was very supportive of his brother, Mike Easton (Uncut dj).

Though my words ring so shallow compared to the magnitude of the tragedy, I want to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I think about it all the time. You know that I am here for you to count on. I give you my full support and encouragement to stay strong for yourself and for your family.
The pain of grieving comes and goes like the ocean tide. It starts off as an intense wave crashing on the beach hitting you hard and drowning you in sorrow. It recedes back only to return and hit you over and over. But over time, the tide gets lower, and the waves get softer and more manageable...eventually just barely touching your ankles. Rest assured that though the ocean never disappears, you stand strong against this natural force on the beach. I know you feel like you're drowning right now. People are here reaching out to you, Mike, and you and your family will get through this.
If there's one thing death can teach us, it's that we should live our ideal life today...because tomorrow is never promised.

My deepest condolences - and only with time does a loss like this get more manageable, but you do get through it.

Like I wrote earlier, I think I can speak for everyone when I say the DnB community loves you. You and your brother rock....
While I may be in Monterey right now, know that my spirit and thoughts are never far from you and your family. You and your brother are awesome and that is what's most important in my mind...the good times, the fun, and getting to be together.

Damn Mikey, damn. I don't even know what to tell ya mate....it was a beautiful thing seeing two brothers with such love in their hearts for each other.
For all of you out there bickering with brothers, sisters or family, think about what your squabbling over, you just never know when you may lose a loved one.

Mike, while I've only met you once, you're such a great guy. I can imagine that your brother is too. It's so crazy how one day we're bouncing up and down with somebody, and the next day, they're gone. My heart goes out to ya man. Just remember, just like the rest of the great ones, he's up in the sky somewhere rockin' with the best! |
