The New Junglist Massive presents... Droppin Science!
A new and original monthly event for those with a passionate taste for Jungle/ Drum n Bass and Dubstep music. NJM will be showcasing headliners from around the world in addition to supporting the finest local Jungle, DnB & Dubstep acts. Prepare to be indulged in an evening of the fresh and uplifting sounds NJM is sure to provide. Specially administered to satisfy mature audience only, these events are strictly 21+.

This will be a monthly event every last Friday starting February 26 2010 at The Arts Garage! (www.theartsgarage.com)

There will be drink specials and an open grill all night long!
Plenty of free parking next to and around venue.

Defining moments is the liquid side project of Mischief and Mayhem, a prime collaboration that has surged the DnB industry, taking no prisoners. Founders of the Hektic Kru, each comes correct with equally monumental DJ and production careers. This duo is well known on all corners of the map, boasting releases on Rapid Fire Records (Canada), Cyntax Errors (UK), and Sound Solution Records (USA). The prize-winning brothers, from Ontario, were the recipients of “Best Breakthrough Producer(s)” at the 2008 Toronto DnB Awards. Mischief has been in the game for over 13 years and brings his sick scratching techniques to the tables while Mayhem displays his production skills. These heavy talents have been known to spin just about any genre from Dubstep to Jump-up to liquid funk. It is our great pleasure to have them play liquid, a style of music manifesting in the fusion of soulful vocals with intelligent harmonies layered over the familiar baselines of DnB. Defining Moments will not only provide an epic performance, they are destined to create an entire atmosphere full of deep and meaningful moments for your enjoyment.

Justin Hunt AKA J-Dastardly has only been putting in work for 4 years and already he has become a well known face in the DC, Baltimore and Philly dance music scenes. His eclectic taste in music shines brightly when he performs, always leaving the audience wondering what they'll here next. Not content with being just another drum and bass DJ, JD branched out into other genres including breaks, electro, hardcore, dubstep and hip hop. His ability to move seamlessly between genres and the energy he shares with the crowd have earned him much praise from crowds. He is also one half of the hardcore tag duo, Trigga Happy.
