A Thread for Random thoughts....

I really wanna see "The Dark Knight"
this weekend.
I sure it's not as crazy anymore.
I've kept my head in the sand about this movie so far.. so don't go ruining it for me!

this is a thread.. to talk about whatever you want.. without having to start a new thread.

you know.. chat it up.

Especially with Ledger (R.I.P.) gone, adds a whole creepy authenticity to it...... I'm ready to watch it dis weekend too.... we should do a Junglist, dark knight movie night!!!!!!!!!

i have a new found love for veggie burgers since i stopped eating meat

don't ask me why but i started saying "i reckon"

i got written up at werk for being online soo much

i still havent seen batman yet either but i hate going by myself and everyone i know saw it (this usually happens which is why i never get to the theaters and most of my friends have gf's now or are broke)

staying in on fri's is actually pretty cool

i still like dnb but i think i wanan be inna band b/c beign a dj has turned into being a politician it seems these days...

i still think it's nuts how none of us know why the f**k we're here or where we came from (although i have theories on that)

i luv my new car but i feel guilty for burning gas ever since i got back from london cuz their public transportation system rules. i can't wait til electric cars come out.

i haven't had a cigar in a while cuz i don't know any other aficionado's to share the experience with

i need more time

i wanna learn to meditate but being a dnb head w/ ocd makes it unbearably hard but t's also probably the one thing i could really benefit from

i still wanna learn how to paint but it's soo damn pain staking and tedious ugh

these are a few of my random thoughts:

im really interested in starting a dancehall night here in s.d. but am not sure if that alone will pull a good amount of people in. not so much about makin money, jus wanna see a decent crowd enjoy sum sick ass dancehall...

i wanna start a foot fetish site minus the nasty ish,just sum pics of cute pedicured feet in a pair bitchin stiletto's. again,not about makin money off this,just another excuse for me and my friends to buy more shoes.

ive been eating tons of beans and rice. i dont know why but it seems to be my comfort food for the moment. maybe im getting in touch w/my mexican side. lol!

just bought a new pair of running shoes and like a little kid i think they make me run fast! zoom,zoom,zoom!

bought that M.IA. tune "Paper Planes", so sick! why have i not heard of this chick before?

been thinking about how crazy the world is right now and how very few people seem to realize it.

im trying to figure out whether i want to buy my son the WALL E robot or the R2D2 robot they cost the same and have very similar features. gawd forbid i get the kid a dog or a cat!

im kinda interested in being a hairstylist,but w/a twist i would only cut mens hair. it's short and i wouldnt have to blow dry they're hair for hours on end resulting in some serious carpal tunnel! i would also like to bring back the lost art of shaving men's faces. seems like nobody does that anymore.

i guess that's it for now...

are you in L.A. ? you serious they still do shaving up there? down here in S.D. there's definitely not a big selection of places that do that. maybe a couple of barber shops,but not salons. they should, hell they offer brazilian waxing for men!

yeah R2D2 is OG! maybe i will get him both for xmas. they both have infrared and will follow you around. would be funny to watch them follow each other around!

See it at the Imax. Its a must.

See it with a friend who's already seen it if you can't find a virgin to go with. I would see it 3 more times. Its that good.

I want to buy the rest of my livingroom set because Pampa is having a sale but I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and am saving for a million other things so logic is taking over aka being responsible sucks.

I am trying not to eat so much cheese and it HURTS.

This line from a stupid Jennifer Aniston movie keeps running through my head every morning "Dress for the job you want not the one you have."

I need to write a 7 page paper in the next two days but I just can't get going.

Should I go to UCLA, get a good education, switch to part time and push back my home ownership deadline, or go to a Cal St school, get a lesser education, work full time, and push back my graduation deadline?

Why is everything attached to the word "wedding" a bajillion dollars? Minimums for everything are stupid. You would think a business would rather take X amount of dollars even if it isn't Y amount rather than sticking to Y and getting Zero.

I listened to the Drum and Bass Arena podcasts all day on Friday and remembered how much I love this s**t. It was like wrapping my arms around an old friend.

Mark Twain said "history doesn't repeat itself, it rhymes" reading up on my history this summer made this clearer than ever. Its amazing how much we know about ourselves yet we seem to have learned nothing from it.

Noam Chomsky once said the best way to stop terrorism, is to not get involved. It took that comment and related it to my youth.

When I had a beef with someone, one of the first things I did was to gather my friends, and that’s what the other person did. Now I have beef with not only him, but all of his friends, and vice versa; regardless of what the beef was about, which was more than likely really stupid. Now I think of our beef with other countries, and us gathering all our allies, and now our allies have a beef with said country. Now that country suicide bombs the country that has our back.

I wonder what was on earth before the dinosaurs.

I’m really stoked that Pure Filth is back. I think about all the trials and tribulations that promoters must over come to bring joy to my ears, and it makes me even more thankful.

I think about how humans all over the world, forever ago, have invented some sort of God. And they have done this all on their own; with out the influence of another tribe of people on another continent, that have developed their own variation of a God. The Human being is destined to invent a God, regardless of whether it exists or not?

Best way to start a monday is just to not care about anything at all.

Im sick hating life on the day that is suppossed to be the hotest day this summer.

And I have not seen batman yet.

Just got a few records thank you redeye. (thank you family).

Got paint on my favorite kicks.

Tko took over venice this weekend no painting there for me.

Looking for a new job the one I have is bland.

Need to finish the 12 paintings im working on.

And need not to start any new works until those are finished.

Last but most important I Love My Children. They are the best kids ever.

Two thoughts to add to yours:


1. Who cares where the heck we came from?! We're here now. LET'S MAKE IT COUNT! Plus - I kinda dig the abstract unknown origins theory. I mean, why pigeon hole humanity into just ONE method of creation/origination? (but yes, I do understand the curiosity )

2. Holosync!!! Have you heard of this?? It is this crazy meditation - audio cd - that puts you in a meditative state within mere minutes - with little to no effort on your part.
It comes in different levels - that you work up to... I had a chance to sample a level 3 meditation, and was only listening for a timed 5 mins. When I was brought back - I felt completely out of my body, and actually felt myself scrambling to get back in... it was very odd and hard to describe. But not scary... or weird. All I can say is that it works!

I have level ONE on disc, given to me by a friend. After some research, I discovered that you're actually supposed to start with the Level One "Introduction" disc, which I don't have. If anyone has disc 1 and wants to swap for disc 2 - get at me!! I haven't been able to start the series until I get the intro cd, cuz you gotta start there and work up.

dancehall in SD definitely exists..not necessarily on a weekly basis...but the Filipino parties always do bomb ass hip hop and dancehall. There is a niche for sure...

Glad you caught on the the MIA thing. I am definitely digging Santogold..saw her perform at Southwestern College ...sickk....check her out. i got loads of her music if you need...

my random thoughts for today.....

Quitting smoking was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I feel empowered..like I can do anything I want if I really choose to.

Knowing that I am going to get laid off of work shortly should make me panic..make me worry..make me upset (considering I have spent the last 7 years of my life working in this place)...but I am probably the happiest I have been in months knowing this information. It's oddly cured my insomnia for the time being.
