I'm SURE this has happened to every dj..at least once
So last night...I played solo in my room for about 2 hours...about an hour into it..I was feeling the fire..so I began to record...
this started one of the best sessions I've had in a long time, I was happy with every mix..made some gutsy moves and they all panned out well...
so nice right?...not really...I forgot to connect something to my soundcard..so I sure did record...an hour and 5 minutes of silence :-(

LOL
that happens once every year. guaranteed.
the best is when you finish the mix and knew it was tight and you even saw the meters bouncing.. then go to hit stop on soundforge and it, uh, wasn't recording. |

Its even funnier when your recording and when you play it back you see that you were recording from your studio mic and you can hear yourself getting all hype in your room by yourself.
lol

Re: I'm SURE this has happened to every dj..at least once
yes yes, had this happen to me before.... so painful.
also, i record through a cd recorder - so a couple of times during a great session it would get a recording error when i tried to finalize.... argggggggh! |
