Burning Man Jungle Party
I know they're out there, Whats the jungle and bass situation out at burning man? Does anyone host a camp playing any out there or interested in setting one up for 2009? I can't go this year but next is game on.
So far this is the only camp currently registered along the lines of what im thinkin....
bass camp
The 50hz Healerz beleive in healing the mind body and soul through ground shaking bass. Our elephant Ganesha will emerge upon the playa daily to provide your daily dose of noise.

Never been, but from what I've heard there isn't much DnB there at all save a few little camps with PAs...but no major stages. Lots of dubstep though. |

well, my brother came back from the last Burning Man chanting "Bassnectar" and then made me a believer. So, there's got to be something!!

if you build it.. they will come.
I know of a few camps that will be playing some dnb.. a few years ago the Mix Movement guys out of the Palm Springs area had a sound camp with mostly dnb played all week. Theres another camp of kids out of Denver called the Energy Riders. They have been going the last few years and they always play good music (they are also friends of mine).
I know another group of people from socal called "Tasty Noodles" who will be going this year and bringing a system.
Also theres a camp called Moon Base which plays mostly dubstep. they are from Seattle I think.
I am bringing a generator a couple speakers and my friend is bringing turntables out for our camp.. nothing major but we will have tunage.
pretty much, if you want to see it out there.. do it yourself. This is a do-ocracy 
burning man is about radical self reliance... and FIRE!

ok fine
So I made a big batch of "DONKEY PUNCH" what you probably call jungle juice in one of those 5 gallon jugs and was carrying it around on my shoulder asking people if they wanted to get donkey punched in the face. I was entertained for hours.
OK another
we started a bowling tournament in the street using a big metal ball and mannequin parts as pins. I have a video of it and will upload to youtube soon.
And another
So i went to "The Deep End" (big daytime stage/party) wearing a teenage mutant ninja turtle floaty and the only other person i saw with a floaty was wearing the same exact teenage mutant ninja turtle floaty. It was probably one of the best tuesdays ive had all year.
one more
We had a sound system at our camp and one of our djs played "around the world" well another camp mate tossed a globe into the middle of the dance floor and everyone started dancing around it in a big circle
But burningman sucks its hot and dusty you shouldnt go
