Russell Simmons To Pay $40,000+ A Month In Child Support

Russell Simmons' divorce from Kimora Lee Simmons is gonna cost him a pretty penny in child support -- $480,000 per year to be exact.
In court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (June 24), it looks like the hip-hop mogul is to pay for each of his two daughters, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee, beginning in July. Russell Simmons, 50, must pay $20,000 per child per month in child support, which stops when each reaches the age of 19 1/2 -- or until the daughter is married, emancipated, becomes self-supporting, joins the armed forces or stops living with her mother. Once they can drive, he's required to buy or lease a car valued at $60,000 or more for each of the girls . . . once every 24 months.
While Kimora maintains sole custody of the two children, Russell will get visitation rights. He will get his kids every eighth week from Saturday until the following Saturday when they are to be returned at 6:00 p.m., according to the documents, which will take place in Los Angeles, where Kimora resides. However, holidays, summers, and vacations, are also options.
Once reading through the documents, it's revealed that the $40,000 per month isn't the only thing he's responsible for either.
The couple's Saddle River, New Jersey home, which was featured on MTV's 'Cribs' in the past, has been put on the market, and Kimora will be able to occupy the residence until it sells. On top of that, Russell is told to fork out $18,000 for up-keep per month to Kimora until it is sold.
Later in the court documents, it says that Russell is responsible for providing Kimora with a vehicle every two years, valued at no less than $60,000.
Despite all the big money he has to shell out, he may seek a reduction in monthly payments if his income falls 30% below what he filed in his 2008 tax filing.
These child support payments will commence until 2019 for Ming Lee and 2022 for Aoki. |

Plus she was like a foot or 2 taller than him. |

ton of stuff together. hell they run Baby Phat together and he monitor's her budget for the photo shoots. so it's not all that bad. im sure he was more than happy to pay up just so he didnt have to deal w/being married anymore. |

oh and they recently bought some diamond mines in south africa.
i forgot the name of their jewelry line,but i do know that she makes a ton of hello kitty diamond crap. can the world please stop making hello kitty crap!!!
so yes people are starving,the world has bigger issues than Kimora's measly allowance that she gets on top of her regular income,but hey that's hollywood right? |

no child should have a price tag.
children are priceless.
but when their dads make stupid mistakes,like fcukn around sometimes you gotta get'em where it hurts the most.. their bank account!
no amount of money can make up for the emotional pain some women have to go through,but at least it will remind they're ex-husband's every time they have to write that check out at the and of the month. |

You are rigth there is no price tag for children. A man taking care of his kids is the most important thing maybee when that check is being written. Dad is thinking man im happy my kids are going to be o.k and im doing my job taking care of them. Money is just that money it is important for a man to make his life easier. But maybee just maybee he migth be happy to take care of his responsability. |
