Where is Die Antwoord playing TONIGHT???
I know they played at Cineaspace (unannounced) on Tuesday for the Dim Mak crew but i'm hearing there is one more show tonight. I MUST SEE THEM PLAY!!! Who knows something???? |

yea...been hearing that its an "art" project (both dj and Ninja were in Max Normal TV, Ninja and the girl are really married with a kid etc) but you can't deny these tunes!!! I haven't bought anything from Puma in years but if this is their idea i'm getting kitted out head to foot to show my appreciation. |

right...so....no show last night but they are here for a few more days meeting with labels/agents. i'd guess that if there is going to be another show it will be someplace with a built in crowd (like Tuesday). |

A musical project so edgy and progressively tongue in cheek that the backlash will begin in a matter of weeks.
I'm guessing that in the present form , the shelf life will be 4 months until overexposure and hipster internal angst begins.
Mainstream acceptance is only a matter of 5 months away, then in no time you'll be having a conversation with your 14 year old nephew about why the whole thing is fake and how you were in to it before everyone else.
Culminating in a mid to upper level billing for 'DA' at next years Coachella where you will be skeptical about the performance untill the molly kicks in...then you'll be dancing like a ninja in the hot sun...
GOD I LOVE TRENDS! Especially ones that are this blatantly manufactured. Essentially these guys are pop art performance artists who just got signed to be rappers... FUCK A MUSEUM! |
