overqualified
Just received and e-mail telling me that I know too much to hold their position. So who gets these jobs? Is it that im too smart and eventually will try to move up? Did I intimidate the kat at the interview? If you where the employer would you not desire the most compitent person that applied? What are the lame excuses you have heard when you are denied a position.
sorry for the spelling just a little pissed.

Re: overqualified
I think they don't want someone who has worked at a higher level than the job needs because eventually they'll probably become bored and move on. The company is probably looking for long term people. They'll probably save money and time if they only hire one person that stays there for a long time rather than several people who leave after a couple months. |

Re: overqualified
Or it could just be a nice way of telling you they aren't going to hire you. Or perhaps they figure you will expect better pay than they can offer. |
