''Almost six years on from their debut release, Mastermind Records are back in business. Having helped the likes of The Qemists and Vital Elements launch their flourishing careers, the London-based label are back with a new release called ‘Here I Am’ by the legendary EZ Rollers, with Ram Records’ Basher on remixing duties on the flipside. Originally set up in 2003 by the people behind popular website Jungleravers.com, the label has been relaunched by new boss Verdict.“I see it as setting up a completely new company and as there hasn’t been a release for a few years, I’m going to start this thing off fresh,” he told Knowledge’. “’We have a love for a variety of genres of drum and bass so each release will have a liquid track and a dancefloor track on the flip.’’ And with Hype among the top-line DJs to have rinsed the new tracks, it looks set to be a huge success.
