1. A-Track (Anyone who wins those gold Technics at 14 years old is the man/boy whatever)
2. Q-Bert (nuf said)
3. Dj Rectangle (I straight up - I am not bulls**tting - saw this guy scratch by hangin' his nuts over the mixer and hitting the fader with them)
4. Prolifix (one of the MOST underrated Dj's I have ever witnessed)
5. Craze (off the hook)
6. Cut Chemist (" ")
7. Dj Swamp (this guy is INSANE - not slang for really good but seriously has a screw loose - I saw him in Seattle break a record over his head bend the tone arm and run the piece of record over the needle then ram it into the platter and scratch the sound of the needle on the slipmat. The funny thing was that even though it was weird it was totally on beat and sounded kinda good in parts)
8. The Scratch Perverts (for using all those old funk 45's)
9. Donald Glaude (Much love to my hometown hero. Best crowd pleaser i have ever seen)
10. Grand Master Flash (during sound check before "It's Like That" in Seattle. I only wish the crowd who payed to go to that party later had seen him do what he did at 7:00 that evening for the lighting&sound crew) |

Deacon scratches pretty well, and Alder does aswell although I've only heard him on an online mix, not at a show. |

I don't think R.A.W. could see Hype on the scratch aspect... maybe in mixing or creativity, but not scratching (note: Hype repped the UK in DMC when the scratch perverts were still crafting).

are you kidding me? how can some of yall put capital j and hype and freaky flow into the same catagory with a-track, q-bert, craze...etc...they arent even in the same ballpark, they arent even in the same league...s**t, they not even playing the same sport! take a close listen, all those dj's do is the same skratch patterns over and over again, transform, stab, baby...they couldnt do a technical fader trick if their life depended on it

I have to agree that hip-hop scratching is a lot more techncial than jungle scratching. A good hip-hop turntablists with some practice can rock out to jungle but a jungle turntablist for the most part wouldn't be able to scratch to hip-hop.
