this is based on who moves me the most...it's constantly changing and (*) denotes an artist i'm unsure of who just sounded real fresh the few times i heard them

Does anyone else think MC GQ goes too loud and too long? Hes good... but sometimes I wanna hear some music and keep thinkin this fool needs to shutup.

yeah he kind of takes over the vibe at parties...i like him more for tracks he collaborates on rather than tracks he freestyles over though

In DnB:

1) Darrison: Flow, Rhythm, LYRICS oh wait meaningful LYRICS. Can sing, can rap and his punch lines stay with u when u leave the party. About the only MC i would pay to see above any DJ.
2) Dynamite: Basically like Darrison, but i would like to see if he can MC w/out his Reprazent brothers, but dope no less. Classic xample of a DJ/MC tandem that works well together.
3) Shabba D: Best chattin' MC. He has freestyles and comes fresh almost everytime.
4) TC Izlam: The best in the USA! Energy, freestyles and wit. He also has presence and oh yeah energy.
5) Conrad: Not too particular on the LTJ sound, but i can not argue with his skills. He also has mastered the use of the echo machine. Plus meaningful lyrics.
6) Rhymetyme: One of the few UK MCs who doesn't chat and is still dope. One of the best voices . . . "Itz like we're about to get this party started" ($10 he'll say this @ Phuture he always does).
7) Skibadee: Dope, best flow, but says the same rhymes all the time. This is why i give the nod to Shabba as best chattin' MC. But his timing on the flow is probably the best worldwide.
GQ: Dope ass voice and flow!
9) Justiyc: Doesn't get too much luv from people, but he isn't the Metalheadz resident for no reason. He only says a bit here and a bit there, but he has a dope voice, presence etc.
10) Busdriver: Has his own style and is witty when u get a chance to listen (as in when the beat is during the breakdown or something).

I didn't put in Hyper cause he's dead, but if he were alive he'd be #3 in my book (though him vs Shabba would be gr8 and if he were alive he would force Skibba to get new flows cause he would be the #1 MC worldwide [accordning to dnbarena.com]). Also ummm . .. since the sound systems are created for the music about 85% of the time i can not hear an MC (at least out here) so as far as US or locals i just look for flow cause i can not catch their lyrics . . . .

I have to give props to MC Swift outta Houston one of the best I have ever seen comes correct each and every time. If you are ever in Houston Id suggest trying to catch a spot he's mc'ing at.

busdriver is a dope ass emcee, i saw him at shows with ab rude and aceyalone, he flows pretty sick and fast. never heard him emcee to drum and bass tho. would mos def like to hear that.

and since when did pheonix orion start emceeing to jungle? i saw that guy at a visionaries show and didnt like his style too much. opinions.

seems like these la underground hip hop emcees are turning to drum and bass.

oh and busdriver is a dope guy. talked to him for a bit after some show, very nice person.

Gotta give props to XYZ and DRE! Check this out: last year these guys PAID to go to Blackout (true supporters). When the billed MCs left (no disrespect-a whole other story), these guys took over and ROCKED the house. I still get compliments from people about these MCs. (BTW, of course they got their money back).

I have to agree with source,most mcs bug the rythm out of the beats...the only good ones are the ones who can shut the f**k up when the track is sick...chitter chatter when the dj is spinning a weak one

I think mc's perform best when the track's rollin'. Mostly rollers like Twist em Out for example. Hard & dark jungle I don't think should have mc's up in the set from beginning to end (whereas a roller set I would).
