i don't get it ...
okay ... so i don't get the whole garage/ 2 step thing. I'm like, these genres just seem like bastard electronic genres. I listen to them and I don't really get any particular feeling, I listen to house and I want to dance. I listen to jungle and I want to step to it. I listen to garage and 2 step and I think "well, theres a beat, but I don't know exactly what this music is building to" maybe I'm just listening to s**tty mixes of this stuff but i dunno |

but trust me there are some great 2step tracks out..dig deep and check out rude sound. |

phew ... I thought I was alone on this one. My sis got me a cd from this guy named dj ez, outta the uk spinning garrige, and i was like "I still don't get it" the vibe was kind of all over the place |

I think part of the beauty of 2step/garage is that it is all over the place, though it's likely a newcomer to d&b may be apt to say the same thing about that genre. LTJ Bukem is different from Juju who is different from Pieter K who is different from John B. It's almost not fair to group them under the d&b category.
