Devoe-Brain Damage
Here's another tune for you all. I've never used toms in my drums before, I like 'em. They make your fills more interesting! I don't think I'm totally done, I might put some more crazy stuff in the background to fill it up. Please leave comments and constructive criticism!

solid tune!
Breaks are definitely rollin, bass is very phat. Lovin that arpegio style synth that makes up the leadline. I'd say compress your kick drum a bit more... can barely hear it through that b-line. Apart from that it's dope. I hope you do put a few atmospheric sounds and layered vocal snippets, fx etc.. to fill it out. It feels slightly empty right now, but you've proved you're more than capable of putting a great tune together. It's definitely a solid back-bone to work with. Looking forward to the update:-) |

thanks for listening and contributing guys! much appreciated. i've got the kick drum a bit beefier now, and am working on adding some "pieces of flair" to it. i'll post an update when it's all finished! |

alright, it's all done. i boosted the kick and also put a weird shakey thing in the background in some parts. i also sprinkled some piano riffs here and there. check it out! then let me know what you think

slick tune!! loving all the elements as they combine.. might wanna soften the main synth after the drop with an LP or HP filter or something.. just a suggestion

good ear. yeah, i also want my drums to be more up front in the mix. i'm waiting for my monitors to arrive ( i ordered some M-Audio BX8's), so I'll do a remix when I get 'em. |
