if you miss this one you must not like dubstep. LOEFAH!!! Can't even start to say how big this is. One of the pioneers on LA's own Pure Filth soundsystem. Add a bit of Breakage and some DLX and thats a win win win type of night. |

"I love... certain Loefah tunes like Goat Stare, when we used to play that tune in 3rd Base. The b-line, it … I don’t know how he did it, he might have used a pitch bend but as it goes down you hear the b-line open up. It’s a physical experience. Some people automate basslines – you might be adding a bit more resonance to the frequency. I remember listening it, the top of the b-line tingles in your ear and you can feel it in your face, in your nose. It’s like parts of the bassline scan your body. You’ll feel it come by your head, you can literally feel it in different points in the body where it’s hitting it. It starts with your ear getting warm, them your neck, then your chest then that low s**t, then your trouser leg would be moving. I’ve felt my trouser moving in the dance and thought it was Gollum pulling at my trouser or something, but it’s not it’s a Loefah b-line." |
